When Sam Keith began the Sara story arc in The Maxx, the villain was a giant banana slug
named Iago who spouted self-help jargon. The replacement for the isz were pink carnivorous
bubblegum fairies. I loved them. Unfortunately the story sort of fell apart. Here's my
tribute to the cute and nasty little things.
