TTT review
Storyline:
In the film TTT this is where there is two stories going on at the same time. Frodo and Sam have left the Fellowship and are making their journey towards Mordor, but then they find that Gollum/Smeagol was following them because he wants the ring, but then he ends up as their guide. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli leave to hunt the Orcs down which captured their friends Merry and Pippin.
Merry and Pippin escape and run into Fangorn forest where they met the great Ent Treebeard.
Meanwhile will Aragorn, legolas and Gimli track down the Orcs they meet Eomer, who tells them that the Orc company were killed and none were left alive. But then Aragorn realises that Merry and Pippin went into Fangorn forest where the 3 companions met Gandalf the White who takes them to King Theoden, which then leads to the battle at Helm's deep.
Sarah's review
I've seen it twice, i thought if i saw it for a second time i may prefer the film but i didn't. The film is not for the fans of lord of the rings, it has been made for people who havent read the books, this is why so much of the story has changed.
The majority of the characters have been changed.
Faramir is put across as being bad, Haldir who doesn't come into the second book is there along with other Elves who all are killed off-which never happened in the book, Arwen's character is over done, and the scene when Aragorn drops over the cliff is too hollywood.
