Narsil is the sword which belongs to Aragorn. Only Aragorn can touch the sword. "Death shall come to any man that draws Elendils sword save Elendil's heir." The sword was broken but then was mended. It is the sword of Elendil, it was made by Telchar of Nogrod, when it was reforged it was named Anduril.
