These are some mistakes i noticed in the film-
* When it is Bilbo's party when Gandalf gets some fireworks and is laughing, he has his hat off, then it shows him lighting a firework and his hat is back on. This happens a few times in this scene.
* When Frodo and Sam are walking in a field, behind Sam is a scarecrow, then in a different camera shot it has moved much further back, and then when it goes back to a close up of Sam it is by him again
* When Gandalf is in Isenguard and Saruman has got both their sticks, and he uses them to spin Gandalf round in a circle-the seeing stone has vanished as Gandalf is in the middle of the room
* In Bree when the hobbits are sitting in the pub, and Pippin is at the bar. Frodo asks Butterbur who strider is-Pippin has reappeared in his seat.
* Bill the pony appears occasionally, but the rest of the time is forgotten about-like when the fellowship all hid under rocks etc..when spies come they don't hide Bill-but you can't see him.
* When Frodo awakes in Rivendell you can see that the ring is on a chain around his neck-then after showing gandalf, and then going back to Frodo it has vanished
* After Gandalf is captured and he escapes how does he get his staff and hat back??
* When they are in the council of elrond, and Gimli smashes his axe-a few seconds later he manages to have his axe back?!?
* When Aragorn is fighting with Lurtz, he cuts off lurtz' arm. when he stabs his sword into Lurtz' stomach-Lurtz manages to pull the sword in with two hands!
* When Sam goes after Frodo-he goes into the water but isn't too far off the shore, when he stars to drown. He sinks really low although he isn't very far in the water. And also when Frodo pulls him out they are much further away from the shore then where Sam nearly drowned.
*This one me and my sister saw one each of the orcs, and we found it so funny-and so obvious*
* After Aragorn has killed lurtz he runs over to boromir, but as he runs passed two orcs they both move without him touching them. One lifts his head up quite high and then puts it back down
