Frodo- Is a hobbit and is 50 years old this is in the book but in the film he is more like 20. He lives in the Shire, and is friends with Sam Gamgee. He is the nephew of Bilbo Baggins. He inherits the ring, and waits 17 years(obviously this is not what happens in the film) until he goes on a journey to destroy the ring. He leaves on Bilbo’s birthday.
