SAN FERNANDO MISSION

The Mission of San Fernando Rey de Espana was established in 1797 by Padre-presidente Lasuen and Fathers Dumetz and Uria upon the lands of the old Rancho Encino.


 

DIRECTIONS: From Los Angeles, take Interstate 5 north. Exit at San Fernando Mission Blvd. and turn left. The mission is located at 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd. in Mission Hills (about halfway between the 405 freeway on the west and the 5 freeway on the east).
