HAROLD LLOYD RANCH

This ranch was purchased in 1923 by the Harold Lloyd Corporation as a possible studio site. While he never moved his studio operations to the ranch, he did build a kennel for his dogs and a New York exterior set. It appears that the property was sold off by 1937.

The ranch was located on Santa Monica Blvd on the south, Selby Ave. on the west, Manning Ave. on the east, and Ohio Ave. on the north. The site is now home to the Los Angeles Temple of the LDS Church, Emerson Middle School, and St. Paul the Apostle Church.
