Park Street

Sitting, staring out the window
Wondering what will be, how we’ll be.
Watching cars pass I look down deep inside me,
To my own Park Street.
What’s your Park Street?
Is it your Terabithia, your sanctuary where everything is ok,
Where your street light is still shinning bright, never broken,
Where there is no dark alley, you’re never alone.
You have rituals you stick by, afraid of change,
You have people you trust, you’re afraid of fate.
Fate tells us that people will be dicks,
People will be assholes,
They will leave you alone in your darkest time,
And force you onto Park Street.
Life is never perfect, it’s not always right,
It takes blood, sweat and tears to build a bridge over troubled water,
But it’s a one way ticket.
There is no turning back, don’t look back,
For out that window there is a tree,
That tree is a gateway, a gateway to the past,
A gateway to the future,
A gateway to Park Street.

days till my 21st birthday!!! of corse i dont
