Setting the Revolution

"The revolt of a student mass, angered with curriculum too shallow for their taste. Boycot of a teacher, qualified yet lacking for the position held. Peaceful assembly, an American Right - held proud with Freedom of Speech; misused in the same way. Misused, misunderstood - practically identical. Peaceful assmebly in the minds of revolutionaries - too young to grasp the marrow of life, yet yearning for it all the while. Revolutionaries seen as school boys and school girls: plaid skirts, polo shirts, pigtail braids - eyes of the once revolutionary, reflecting inwardly. Yet comprehensions shallow waters are muddied by the trampling of feet. Revolutionaries fighting for a cause - an education worth their intellect. However, shot down by the superior class of uninformed administrators - the gate keepers of this so called "education". And like the Paris Communes and the Battle of the Barricade, a bloodied mess and a body sprawled over a red flag are the only remaining symbols. So much for revolution - so much for education."
