Khawaport Pictures started as a 12th grade English project gone mad. The idea was to present a scene from Richard III either live in front of the class, or on video. We chose to do the final battle scene between Richard and Richmond, and we chose to do it on video. This scene was chosen mainly because it had the most action, with the fewest words. It was supposed to be a small project, no more than ten minutes or so, but we took it up a few notches. We ended up completely forgetting about the fact that it was just a small project, and filmed the movie for ourselves, not for the class. Khawaport Pictures was born. Oh, and by the way, we got a pretty good mark for the project: 12 out of 10.
