Dr. Ian Malcolm
Celebrated chaotician Ian Malcolm has always been recognized throughout the world of science for either his views and theories or for his uncanny ability to attract unwanted attention to himself. Malcolm has had a long history with InGen as he drew up calculations about the stability of the Park, and then was among the few people to tour the island before it was destroyed. He led the Sarah Harding rescue expedition to Isla Sorna in 1997, and was primarily responsible for wrangling the bull t-rex back into its containment area on the ship it had arrived on, which has since been infamously named the "San Diego Incident" by the California authorities. Malcolm was also one of the survivors of the incident in Costa Rica and shortly after finding his way back to the states, he had married long-time girlfriend/Sorna rescuee Sarah Harding. Now, taken against his will by the Costa Rican military, he is forced to help classify the disease that the dinosaurs have fallen ill to.
