Dr. Alan Grant
Renowned paleontologist Alan Grant first came face to face with living dinosaurs back in the early nineties when he was one of the few guests (and survivors) to visit Jurassic Park on the remote island of Isla Nublar. After witnessing the horrors of the bloodshed while on Nublar, Grant swore to never again return to one of the dinosaur-infested islands. But fate it seems, is not without a sense of irony. Against his will Grant was brought to and stranded upon Isla Sorna, and then was one of the few survivors of the Costa Rican incident that involved Biosyn corporation in 2002. Now, he has returned to Isla Sorna once more to face the very demons that have tormented his mind, body, and soul for most of his adult life. Working for the Costa Rican government to help identify the disease of the dinosaurs on Sorna, Grant is also faced with the difficult task of evading Brock Larson, a man who has sworn to get vengeance by killing Grant and his companions. Now Grant must avoid the powers of nature and the cruelty of men as he helps his friends though the ultimate game of survival of the fittest.
