Dr. Ellie Sattler-Degler
Paleobotanist Ellie Sattler was once in a close loving relationship with Alan Grant. But after the incident on Isla Nublar, their lives became the topic of every world news station from America to Japan. Under the stress of the bothersome news reporters, their relationship began to unravel, and the two split apart. While Grant became obsessed with his work, Ellie moved on and married a man named Mark Degler. Ellie advanced into a happy life with her husband and two children. But all that changed when Brock Larson, a man she had never met, broke into their home, and killed Mark. Ellie narrowly escaped the attack, and when the Costa Rican government offered to help protect Ellie from her attackers, she quickly accepted their proposal. Now she must try to move on with her life once more, as she tries to survive on Isla Sorna with Grant again at her side.
