Twin Dragons (DVD) * * * * * (A common film with an astounding difference) Now everyone must have seen film or two where the actor plays more than one part? All the big actors have done it. But for Jackie Chan, this is completely different. For Jackie's first part, he plays one of a set of twins who is a mechanic. For the second part, he plays the other twin who is a famous conductor. When coming to Hong Kong, both Jackie's start to feel the effects of the others actions. When one starts conducting, the other finds himself conducting too, often in the most strangest of places, when the other gets caught up in a high speed, speed boat chase, the other is thrown about in his chair with sea sickness. Finally they meet, and the fun really begins. Though this film is a great comedy and action Kung Fu film, it gets pretty confusing at times. Half the time I couldn't tell which Jackie was supposed to be which, and so I think you will too. This film is completely different from any other film of its type, as Jackie really puts his heart, soul, and comedy into it. This film is an absolute must for any Jackie fan, Kung fu fan, Comedy fan, or any film fan whatsoever. Buy it. The only point I want to add is, I suggest you buy an English speaking version rather than the Cantonese version I bought, as the film can get so speedy and action packed at times that watching the subtitles is the last thing on your mind. Also, the beginning of the film being in black and white adds to the effects of the film even more.
