Dragon Lord * * * *
Dragon Lord has good story line to it and also some really good stunts. The story starts with a kind of challenge. Loads of men have to race each other up a kind of bamboo tower in order to be the first to reach the silver rugby ball shaped prize. Unfortunately, just as someone reaches it, the tower collapses and everyone falls off. They then chase after each other to capture the prize and take it to their coloured table. It turns into a fight with people tripping up everyone else, lots of foul play and everyone getting attacked. The main storyline of the film is Jackie is the son of a rich father. Jackie and his best friend accidentally stumble across a gang who are stealing treasures from the forbidden city. So they go about helping the Lieutenant to retrieve the treasures. Thus lots of fighting, stunts and foul play. This film, although not hilarious, is obviously a comedy as there are lots of little gags here and there, loads of ogling at the girls, and of course the comedic action kung-fu. Along with the great effects of slow motion replays, this is a really good film.
