THE HUMAN FIGURE IN MOTION - A PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDY

This project is a recreation and an updating of A Study In Human Motion originally created in 1896. The purpose of the project was to study the human figure in motion. These photos will be for artists, art teachers & animators to study human motion. Please be aware that this is artistic, tasteful nude modeling.

EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED
However, we do look for some sort of movement experience: dance, sports, theater, kendo, gymnastics, martial arts, swords, taiko, ethnic dance, etc. Many of the movements will be very simple.

Since this is artist’s figure modeling, you will, of course, be nude. The working environment will be a professional studio: clean, safe and the few professional technicians who will be there will be completely respectful of your dignity.

You are welcome to bring a friend or relative at all times (including the very brief interview) so that you will feel more comfortable and safe.

WHO WE NEED
We don't need perfect "model" types (they are often too skinny to be useful to art students). Real people is fine, but generally in good shape, well defined, natural. 18 to 60. Male and female athletes, dancers, ancient combat, martial arts, gymnasts, drummers, swords, taiko, ethnic dance, etc.

HOW TO APPLY
Send an email to visualarts@charter.net with the following information:
• Age (must be 18 or older)
• Weight and general body type.
• Any skills such as dance, martial arts, athletics, etc.

PLEASE INCLUDE A PHOTO IN YOUR EMAIL. Just a snapshot will do if that's all you have.
