The Review-Ryan's Cut

HIghpoints Of Intruder

Intruder was an overall good movie. I would maybe give it 3 out of five stars, mainly cuz the plot sux, and Ted Raimi listens to this piece of sh** music and it scares me. But anyway... the film starts out in a large supermarket. The main character's ex-boyfriend (Craig) has returned to make some trouble with her. It seems she hasn't returned any of his calls, so he starts acting like a weiner...

So Danny Hicks (that's "Bill" to you) and company come over and gang up on this guy. Craig is holding his own, and it finally ends up with a fistfight between Bill and Craig. Suddenly Danny (not Hicks) runs up with another guy, and they finally overtake him. To escape, Craig throws Sam Raimi (Randy) into a Diet Pepsi display(The funniest part of the movie besides another part.)

The eventually find the Punk, and throw him out of the store.

At this point I was sort of confused and bejiggered(tee hee...funny word), because the movie seemed almost....(plae word that makes sense cuz i cant think of one)! From that shot through the telephone (I'll post a screenshot at some point) to that fistfight, I was somehow (again place another word). This is just one of those movies where you can't stop watching until it's over.

Well, at this point the two bosses (Bill and Danny) tell everyone that they're going to sell the store, and that everyone will have to find new jobs. Awhile later, Bill finds Craig outside the store, spying on a half-naked Jenny through the window. He comes charging with his hammer in hand, and there's a major fight, but eventually Craig comes out on top, knocking Bill out with his own hammer.

After a few more (somewhat) (place word here) scenes, the first murder happens. Then the second. Than the third. This one is my favorite, because I hate Ted Raimi's character, and he was listeniing to sh***y music. So he has a big knife imbedded in his head. Ouch! The second was Danny, who had his eye impaled on a nail. Which was kind of a reference to Evil Dead when there is blood on the projector dealy.)

Then we have a wide array of painful deaths, like a head crushed in a trash compactor(my fav), and death by a meat slicer. Unfortunately I've never seen the uncut version, so I didn't see these scenes in all their goryness and glory.

Soon the only one left is Jennifer, and she has the bad luck of running into Craig (who broke into the store.) She knocks him out hastily, and JUST THEN, Bill shows up. Seems he wasn't down for the count earlier. Jennifer runs into his arms crying, and he assures her that everything will be alright. He winks, and goes to call the police.

Just then she notices blood all over his hands. He's the killer! He regretfully announces he must kill her too, because he's "crazy about this store!" Craig shows up to lend a helping hand, and eventually it all ends with an exiting climax in which Bill ends up with a knife in his stomach.

Officer Bruce Campbell (and partner Lawrence Bender, the Producer) show up in answer to Jenny's call, but since they (Jen and Craig) are the only ones unharmed, they are blamed for the bloody murders. Bill "confirms" this, and dies laughing as Jennifer screams for the last time.

Overall this movie is just awesome, and the creative shots (such was the floor's point of view when being swept) are sure to please everyone. SEE THIS MOVIE!
