Hi all,
how are you? hope you are doing well:-)!

Yesterday I went to uni again for an interview with a professor of a seminar, and I was admitted! Hurray!!

After that I went to a cherry-blossom-viewing party with my friends, and we had a really good time.It was so great to see familiar faces whom I had spent over 4 months with. Everyone was laughing, having fun, eating, drinking, and it was just amazingly relaxing. I LOVE spending time with them sooo much xD! It wasn't hard at all to catch up with the latest of everyone even though we had spent about a month apart since we came back to Japan. It was such a lovely night.

Today is a day off and I had a very good sleep last night...so i'm not tired any more! I haven't got any plan tomorrow either apart from getting stuff ready for the coming semester. So I guess I'll just relax and enjoy some time for myself...love it as well!

Oh I can't believe how busy I am right now...
I've gone back to uni, I've been working as a teacher after classes, been reading for the upcoming classes, and I've been straggling with deciding which classes to take and which seminar to join and what to say at an interveiw with a professor! Oh dear...

Anyway, I'm doing alright and hope everyone who is reading this weblog is doing fine. I imagine all of you are really busy as well. Let's hang on...

A super-sleepy day
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: General
I can't believe how much I slept today...I first woke up at 10.30am, was awake for an hour or so, then went back to sleep and finally got up at 5pm. And the thing is, I got up then because my mum phoned me after work. So, without that call I might have slept even more...haha. I didn't know I was such a heavy sleeper. But I have an excuse: I worked on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday last week! And only earned like 10pound. Why? Because I am a TRAINEE! I've got to do a lot more training before I actually will be allowed to teach students. I'll have another training this coming Friday, and I've got to prepare for that. Then I'll have a short break, then I've got to get ready for another training on 12th, Saturday.

Basically, I've got to do two courses of training which every other trainees have to do. In addition, I've got to do another set of training for 'Conversational English Course for Pupils'. So, from next week,I've got to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

There are other things I want to do as well, so I have to be very careful about managing schedule.

But anyway, first I have to start with getting up earlier. lol.

Shopping to become a teacher

Hi there,
how are you? I'm doing alright. It's about 0:40am, and I'd been typing a teaching plan for the first mock class after the interview.I know I should've done it earlier, but I'd been busy with typing a report for uni, attending a meeting and such. Just excuses though!

Oh, there's a reason I hadn't made any entries recently---I went to Tokyo Disneysea! My parents and I stayed there for a night, and we had a good time. There was an event called 'Rhythms of the World' going on, which featured dances of the world. There were European section, Asian section, Central American section, and New York section. Dancers dressed in traditional clothes of the areas, and those in european section were wearing traditional clothes of Scotland, and the drummers dressed up in the costumes of soldiers at Buckingham Palace. So, it was very British.

The parcels stuffed with my clothes and things, which my host family sent for me, arrived here yesterday, and I've been unpacking everything and putting things in the places they used to be. But there are so many new books, textbooks and other things I bought in England, so I've been struggling:-)! Hahaha! But I'll sort things out, thank you David and Karen!

Today I got an email from Marieke. It was really lovely to hear from you, Marieke!

My mum and I went shopping this evening because I needed to get ready to dress like a teacher for the part-time job! She got me a jacket,a skirt, a pair of shoes. They made me feel that I've got to work very hard! I hope I will look like a teacher tomorrow...

It's nearly 1am so I've got to go to sleep now.
Have a lovely day everyone!

Got a job!
Mood:  bright
Now Playing: Nothing because I've been typing an essay!

Hi all, how are you?
I'm alright:-).
Today, I've got something to tell you!

I'VE GOT A JOB!

Hurray! Last night I went to an interview with a teacher at a cram school (that's where students study after school.), and I was given a excerpt from an English textbook, and was told to do a mock class in front of other applicants and the teacher. I was very nervous, but it seemed I did alright because I got that job!

But it doesnt mean that I can start teaching students right away. I have to do a training course, then do tutoring for a couple of days, and then finally get to teach students. And actually, some of the trainings are on SUNDAYS!!!There will be 20 students in each class at maximum, so I really have to get used to talking in front of people while i'm a trainee.

I've got to prepare for another mock class on 26th, Feb, Friday, but before that I've got to finish the essay, which is due on 21th. I got so busy right after I came back from England, and it felt as if somebody was telling me 'All the lovely days in England were dreams. WAKE UP NOW! Welcome to the real world'.

Anyway, my mum's shouting me for tea, so I've got to go!

Updated my website
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Virgin Radio UK
Topic: General
Hiya!
Sorry about not making any entry recently, I've been busy with finding a part-time job, writing CVs for it, writing up a paper for the university and such.

I finally managed to arrange a job interveiw, so hopefully I can get a part-time job, and start saving up to go to England again:-)! But I dont mind if I cant make this one because then I will just give another go.

But the paper for the university is hard to finalise because the topic is so vague: 'What I learned from Study Abroad Programme and how I will apply it to the future'. Very vague. It's really hard not in terms of language, but to choose what to write about. I learned A LOT of things during my stay in England, and most of them means a lot to me, have been helping me in many ways, but most of them are abstract and I just cant put them into 600 words! I know I have to do it though.

Today I updated my website and uploaded some pictures from my stay in England. Just some of them though as I've got lords of them! Five months can seem long time when you look at it objectively, but it went so quickly for me. I wish I could stay there longer!

So, why can I listen to Virgin Radio UK in Japan?
I actually downladed a tool called 'iTunes' from the website of apple computer for free! With it you can listen to radio of many other countries for free, and as much as you like. (I'm not advertising it!) So, that means you in the UK and me in Japan might be listening to the same songs at the same time! It makes me feel as if I were in England still as it airs adverts of boots and such. How interesting!

I was having a headache until just a while ago but it's gone! Very good.

Talk to you soon!
Have a lovely day:-)!

Jet lag

Hi all, how are you?
Today I got up at ring David and Karen, and then had an early breakfast with my dad, wrote letters to my friends in england, and fell asleep!!! Till what time do you think? 6.30pm!!! Obviously, I'm suffering from jet lag, aren't I?

After that I've been working on my website, and now I'm having a break to type this.

Life in Japan has been alright, everything is the same, but that feels very strange because I was away for 5 months---something should have been changed, shouldn't it! Very odd.

I'm missing you all!

Hi everyone! How are you? Now I'm back in Japan, and it's 8.43pm here right now. I'm obviously suffering jet lag,and I had a sleep right after I got home, when it was midnight in England:-)

>David and Karen:
Again, thank you so much for everything, being so sweet, helpful and supportive for me. You are the best couple in the world, and I'm looking forward to seeing you very soon. Thank you very much for the farewell present! I loved it!
I rang you up just a while ago, but apparently you didnt seem to have been there. As i said in the message on your answering machine, i will ring you up again later today. I miss you so much, and I have been watching the videos and pictures I took with/of you ever since I got home.

>Emma
Hi, thank you for being such a great friend! We had a fantastic time, did't we? We were talking and laughing all the time, and your bright smile made me so happy all the time. Good luck in teaching, and don't drink too much coffee;-)!!

>Simon
Hi, I would love to thank you for also being such a wonderful, funny friend! It was a lovely surprise to see you. I know that even though you look different from the last time, but you are still the funny, intelligent, and a great friend as you have always been. Good luck in your study. Take a rest sometimes!

>Marieke
Genki? I bet you have been very busy with your work. It feels really strange that we are not meeting up like we did any more, especially on Mondays. I had a great time with you, and thank you for coming along the other day. Thank you for the present! See you in Japan! You've got to ring me when you arrive in Japan, then I'll show you around and we'll have some sessions again;-)!

>Louise
Hiya, I know you havent got an email address and supposedly the internet, but just in case you do! I loved spending the afternoon with you, it was great talking to you and seeing you. It must be hard to cope with the situation at work, but remember, you deserve to be happy always! SMILE!

>Lynsey
Hi, how are you? It's a shame that we could't have a chance to meet up properly this time, but I loved the hot chocolate you made. It was brilliant! And thank you for being a lovely friend. You've got to tell me when you come to japan!

>Katie
Hiya, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your first baby! I wish I could have seen you and your baby boy before I left, but don't worry, there will be next time. Remember when we went to Oxford and took a photo together? I went to the same place this time again and took a picture without you...Next time, you and your baby and your fiance have to be there!

>Everyone in class PM1
Hi, I love you all! I really enjoyed taking classes with you, discussing various things, having parties, drinking, and so on. I miss everyone, and enjoy the rest of your time in England, or back at home. I've sent you emails finally, so drop me a line when you've got a chance.

I've been missing you, recalling all the great memories you gave me, and your warm support, love and friendship. I love you all, and I WILL come back very soon.

Even though you can tell I am lazy, I will try to write an entry everyday, and if not everyday, at least as often as I can. I also will work on my website, upload photos etc., so I will let you know the URL when it's ready.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!
