Got a job!
Mood:  bright
Now Playing: Nothing because I've been typing an essay!
Topic: General
Hi all, how are you?
I'm alright:-).
Today, I've got something to tell you!

I'VE GOT A JOB!

Hurray! Last night I went to an interview with a teacher at a cram school (that's where students study after school.), and I was given a excerpt from an English textbook, and was told to do a mock class in front of other applicants and the teacher. I was very nervous, but it seemed I did alright because I got that job!

But it doesnt mean that I can start teaching students right away. I have to do a training course, then do tutoring for a couple of days, and then finally get to teach students. And actually, some of the trainings are on SUNDAYS!!!There will be 20 students in each class at maximum, so I really have to get used to talking in front of people while i'm a trainee.

I've got to prepare for another mock class on 26th, Feb, Friday, but before that I've got to finish the essay, which is due on 21th. I got so busy right after I came back from England, and it felt as if somebody was telling me 'All the lovely days in England were dreams. WAKE UP NOW! Welcome to the real world'.

Anyway, my mum's shouting me for tea, so I've got to go!

Updated my website
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Virgin Radio UK
Topic: General
Hiya!
Sorry about not making any entry recently, I've been busy with finding a part-time job, writing CVs for it, writing up a paper for the university and such.

I finally managed to arrange a job interveiw, so hopefully I can get a part-time job, and start saving up to go to England again:-)! But I dont mind if I cant make this one because then I will just give another go.

But the paper for the university is hard to finalise because the topic is so vague: 'What I learned from Study Abroad Programme and how I will apply it to the future'. Very vague. It's really hard not in terms of language, but to choose what to write about. I learned A LOT of things during my stay in England, and most of them means a lot to me, have been helping me in many ways, but most of them are abstract and I just cant put them into 600 words! I know I have to do it though.

Today I updated my website and uploaded some pictures from my stay in England. Just some of them though as I've got lords of them! Five months can seem long time when you look at it objectively, but it went so quickly for me. I wish I could stay there longer!

So, why can I listen to Virgin Radio UK in Japan?
I actually downladed a tool called 'iTunes' from the website of apple computer for free! With it you can listen to radio of many other countries for free, and as much as you like. (I'm not advertising it!) So, that means you in the UK and me in Japan might be listening to the same songs at the same time! It makes me feel as if I were in England still as it airs adverts of boots and such. How interesting!

I was having a headache until just a while ago but it's gone! Very good.

Talk to you soon!
Have a lovely day:-)!

Jet lag
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: General
Hi all, how are you?
Today I got up at ring David and Karen, and then had an early breakfast with my dad, wrote letters to my friends in england, and fell asleep!!! Till what time do you think? 6.30pm!!! Obviously, I'm suffering from jet lag, aren't I?

After that I've been working on my website, and now I'm having a break to type this.

Life in Japan has been alright, everything is the same, but that feels very strange because I was away for 5 months---something should have been changed, shouldn't it! Very odd.

I'm missing you all!

I rang you up just a while ago, but apparently you didnt seem to have been there. As i said in the message on your answering machine, i will ring you up again later today. I miss you so much, and I have been watching the videos and pictures I took with/of you ever since I got home.

>Emma
Hi, thank you for being such a great friend! We had a fantastic time, did't we? We were talking and laughing all the time, and your bright smile made me so happy all the time. Good luck in teaching, and don't drink too much coffee;-)!!

>Simon
Hi, I would love to thank you for also being such a wonderful, funny friend! It was a lovely surprise to see you. I know that even though you look different from the last time, but you are still the funny, intelligent, and a great friend as you have always been. Good luck in your study. Take a rest sometimes!

>Marieke
Genki? I bet you have been very busy with your work. It feels really strange that we are not meeting up like we did any more, especially on Mondays. I had a great time with you, and thank you for coming along the other day. Thank you for the present! See you in Japan! You've got to ring me when you arrive in Japan, then I'll show you around and we'll have some sessions again;-)!

>Louise
Hiya, I know you havent got an email address and supposedly the internet, but just in case you do! I loved spending the afternoon with you, it was great talking to you and seeing you. It must be hard to cope with the situation at work, but remember, you deserve to be happy always! SMILE!

>Lynsey
Hi, how are you? It's a shame that we could't have a chance to meet up properly this time, but I loved the hot chocolate you made. It was brilliant! And thank you for being a lovely friend. You've got to tell me when you come to japan!

>Katie
Hiya, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your first baby! I wish I could have seen you and your baby boy before I left, but don't worry, there will be next time. Remember when we went to Oxford and took a photo together? I went to the same place this time again and took a picture without you...Next time, you and your baby and your fiance have to be there!

>Everyone in class PM1
Hi, I love you all! I really enjoyed taking classes with you, discussing various things, having parties, drinking, and so on. I miss everyone, and enjoy the rest of your time in England, or back at home. I've sent you emails finally, so drop me a line when you've got a chance.

I've been missing you, recalling all the great memories you gave me, and your warm support, love and friendship. I love you all, and I WILL come back very soon.

Even though you can tell I am lazy, I will try to write an entry everyday, and if not everyday, at least as often as I can. I also will work on my website, upload photos etc., so I will let you know the URL when it's ready.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!

On the last day of my holiday
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: On a holiday
Hi all,how are you? Hope you all are well. Today i'm in Rome, italy, where I'm spending the last night of my holiday...Fortunately,Ive been experiencing various things and learn things about some parts of Europe. Not all of them were great experiences, but I really do think it was fruitful to have a rather long holiday in europe, despite some scary experiences which me and some of my friends had.

The Island of Capri, a isolated island near Naples was absolutely amazing, and I really hope to visit there one day again! Not only the beautiful, turquoise sea,but the people, shops, buildings and everything were creating such a peaceful atmosphere and it was a great escape for me and my friends because we felt VERY TENSE after we nearly had been attacked in Rome...and especially after having heard of scary stories about naples! In spite of such things, we had a really great time in the island, and we all were so happy to be there.Oh, we found pictures of celebrities like Mariah Carley in there, by the way!

Now, I've got to go because my friend came and now the biggest party ever is about to start!!!!!

This will be the last entry before leaving!

I've been very busy with packing and shopping as any day, and am not really sure if I can have some time for sleep tonight! I've already tidied up my room, desk and everything, and I've packed up everything (i hope), but still have to pack some stuff in my bag to bring to the airplane! BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! I've done so many things, but how come there are still so many things to do!?

But at the same time, i am very excited too.
i've been waiting for two years to visit england again, so i am happy. already missing my family though!

Well, today was my last day at the english language school. i feel kind of sad because i'd been there for 3 years or so. never been a regular student, but it was good to have chances to talk about various things with people of various cultrual background. Some people english language schools are generally no use but i don't quite agree because i've learned many things there and i met so many people that i would not meet if i didn't attend it. So, all in all, i very much enjoyed it.

Tomorrow, i'm leaving my home around 1:00pm and am going to stay in Narita for a day. I might fall asleep as soon as i get to the hotel room, possibly.

Now,I'd like to thank people who are reading this in Japan:

Thank you for all your support. All of you have been so nice and I am very grateful to you. I am very fortunate to have you all, and I promise you to make my stay in England as fruitful as possible.
Email me anytime you feel like---I LOVE reading your emails, and I promise you to write back as soon as possible. I hope you all have wonderful time in Japan, and am looking forward to seeing you when I'm back!

And for my host family:

Thank you for letting me stay with you. I am very excited to get to see you finally! I can't imagine what my life in England is like, but I'm looking forward to seeing you on Sunday! I have some pictures to show you as well...!

Now, I'm going to finish this now.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

So many things to do!
Mood:  lazy
Topic: General
Hello!

It's around 9:15p.m. here, so I will be still on the airplane at this time next week! Can't believe it I'm leaving Japan within a week. I'm VERY excited but also am a bit nervous since I will not go back to Japan until Feburary next year! It sounds a long-term stay to me right now, but probably it won't be once I get to live there...I might feel it is even too short!

Anyway, I've got a lot of things to do before I leave. Today I started packing seriously, but really don't know what to bring and what I will need! I'm lucky there is a supermarket around my house, which is open until 11:00 p.m.. Actually, I was working part-time at the shop from February to June. What did I do? I was a cashier! It was really hard to manage my part-time job and study, but I think it was good for me because I learned a bit about "the real world". I was not always happy with dealing with customers, but those experiences taught me how hard it was to work as a cashier...I had never imagined there were so many things to remember, check, write, sort, filling equipments, etc.

Anyway, I have to go back to the room next to mine and do packing again!

Back from a "Computer Sick"!?
Mood:  happy
Topic: General
Hellooo!

Yes, It's been a while since I posted the last entry! I actually felt sick when I was editing images on my computers several days ago, so I didn't really feel like booting my computer again...Anyway, I feel okay now, so I'm typing this!

I took two English lessons at a English language school (which is a company-based). Recently I've been a regular student, unlike before, because I would love to improve/brush up my English before going to the UK, and also, I have 19 more lessons left which I expire in October. Yes, they expire in OCTOBER but I have to finish them within 10 more days because I'M LEAVING!

Then I went to Edo Tokyo Museum, which is located around my uni,and saw an exhibition on Catherine II, the historical Russian Empress. There were a lot of paintings of St.Peterburg, silverware, and even her carriage!! They were really gorgeous, and I enjoyed appreciating them. I always enjoy visiting historical places and exhibitions like this!

Well, my "today" went on more...! I went to a hall for a film preview. The film is called "Two Brothers" (You must have heard of it), and is a story about two brother tigers that were seperated by people. It was very moving, so I liked it. Tomorrow, I'm going to go to another preview, "i, Robot", yes, again, with my sister. Probably I've mentioned in a previous entry, I actually have seen this film about a week ago with my friend at another preview. But since my sister told me I could come with her, so I'm going again! I'm excited...because I LOVE hanging out with my sister!

Whew...I'm tired! Why? Well, actually, today I've been editing pictures of my holiday in Korea, party with my friends, and those around my town...whole day! I've already uploaded them on the Internet and sent the URL to some of my friends, but there's still a long way to go! I have to send the URL to other friends and also, make English version to share them with my host family and English-speaking friends. I'm a bit tired, but it's indeed fun to do all these stuff, thinking of people who will probably see these pictures.

Well, I have to clean up my room tomorrow...!
