Back from a "Computer Sick"!?
Mood:  happy
Topic: General
Hellooo!

Yes, It's been a while since I posted the last entry! I actually felt sick when I was editing images on my computers several days ago, so I didn't really feel like booting my computer again...Anyway, I feel okay now, so I'm typing this!

I took two English lessons at a English language school (which is a company-based). Recently I've been a regular student, unlike before, because I would love to improve/brush up my English before going to the UK, and also, I have 19 more lessons left which I expire in October. Yes, they expire in OCTOBER but I have to finish them within 10 more days because I'M LEAVING!

Then I went to Edo Tokyo Museum, which is located around my uni,and saw an exhibition on Catherine II, the historical Russian Empress. There were a lot of paintings of St.Peterburg, silverware, and even her carriage!! They were really gorgeous, and I enjoyed appreciating them. I always enjoy visiting historical places and exhibitions like this!

Well, my "today" went on more...! I went to a hall for a film preview. The film is called "Two Brothers" (You must have heard of it), and is a story about two brother tigers that were seperated by people. It was very moving, so I liked it. Tomorrow, I'm going to go to another preview, "i, Robot", yes, again, with my sister. Probably I've mentioned in a previous entry, I actually have seen this film about a week ago with my friend at another preview. But since my sister told me I could come with her, so I'm going again! I'm excited...because I LOVE hanging out with my sister!

Whew...I'm tired! Why? Well, actually, today I've been editing pictures of my holiday in Korea, party with my friends, and those around my town...whole day! I've already uploaded them on the Internet and sent the URL to some of my friends, but there's still a long way to go! I have to send the URL to other friends and also, make English version to share them with my host family and English-speaking friends. I'm a bit tired, but it's indeed fun to do all these stuff, thinking of people who will probably see these pictures.

Well, I have to clean up my room tomorrow...!

Shopping with my mother and my sister
Mood:  chatty
Topic: General
Today, I went shopping with my mother and my sister to buy some clothes for autumn. I was lucky since I found a nice shop with lots of clothes of rare design at a reasonable price:-)! After some hours of shopping, we had lunch at our favourite restaurant, which serves nice Japanese food. Spending a whole day in a shopping mall with my mother and my sister, I became more sure that I will miss them (and my father as well, of course!) when I'm away from them...That would be difficult not to see them everyday, but at the same time, I do think it is going to be a meaningful experience to be in England without them---to become more independent!

Some of my friends have gone to the US this evening for their Study Abroad Programme, and I'm already missing them!lol...Anyway, I really wish them a safe trip and great time there;-)!!!

Just started a blog

Hello, it's Yukiko!

Thank you for viewing my blog, which I just started.
I'm planning to write about anything from daily events to my Study Abroad Programme. I imagine this is going to be more like a journal about how I feel or what I see during the SA Programme, but I don't know yet. In any case, I'd like this to be something fruitful, both in my life and in an academic way.

Anyway, I've got two week or so before I leave Japan...! Yet, I'm going to post some entries soon, so I hope you enjoy it! Also, please feel free to leave any comments when you visit my blog---to communicate with each other---because that's one of the purposes I started this blog!
