Greetings all! Rehearsals are fast approaching...are you ready? Rehearsals begin Saturday February 15th and run 9am to 6pm. This has been the most official time that I have been given so I'm going with it!
Also, it has come to my attention that not everyone is aware that there is a parade in Austin the 3rd Saturday of rehearsals. I'm not sure of the specifics but please be aware that you need to use that 3rd weekend as a dress rehearsal. Your costume must be complete (or wearable) by that Saturday or you'll have to go naked through the streets of downtown Austin. If you go naked you may be attacked by an otherwise naked, pink thong wearin' guy, who ran for mayor once and haunts (not as in ghosts Tara) the streets of downtown Austin...his name is Leslie. That in itself is good enough reason to have your costume done. Consider yourselves warned.
ATTENTION AUSTIN Folks: Those of you who have not had your costumes approved please show up to Whitney's Thursday night at 7:30. A digital camera has been graciously made available so that photos of you in your costume can be sent to Cat. A member of the Costume Committee will be present to answer general costuming questions.
