esc is a film which follows a (computer) mouse as it explores a foreign, surrealistic world which resembles a junkyard for useless computer technology. while making its way through the circuitry, wires and other debris, the mouse encounters a number of foes and one friend. the friend is another mouse (mouse2) who is in the same predicament; lost, confused and alone. these two mice then continue to explore their surroundings until chaos strikes and even greater confusion sets in.

while the filmmakers are opposed to telling viewers what to think about or how to interpret the film, major themes in this work are: man vs. technology, companionship, order, and origin & knowledge. at the very least we hope to conjure or provoke thoughts related to these themes, or even unrelated to these themes.
