esc took 18 months to complete. over 1800' of film was exposed during aproximately 200 hours of shooting for a film which runs 8 minutes and 53 seconds. our "studio" was located in kc's dingy, cold and cramped 9' x 20' garage.

filming usually took place on sunday of each week and would last all day. fuses were blown, mystery dust particles were inhaled and labels indicating that pipes had been insulated with asbestos were spotted.

post production took place in pittsburgh filmmakers. this is also where the filmmakers were able to get their equipment.
