Welcome to an unofficial Doppelganger Website.

What a film, Having left her E.T. days behind her Drew Barrymore is now all grown up and went on to make this daft but very enjoyable horror way back in 1992 that features a double dose of Drew for her fans to feast their eyes on!

First there is the good Drew, whose name is Holly Gooding, A nice mild mannered young lady who dresses demurely and wouldn`t say boo to a goose, she comes to Hollywood to share a flat with an aspiring screenwriter. Her relationship with her flatmate (George Newburn) is strictly platonic. But the lustful lad thinks his luck has changed when this innocent creature suddenly turns into a raving nymphomaniac and gives him a night to remember. What he doesn`t realise is that he has actually been sharing some high grade nookie with Drews ghostly double (Doppelganger). It turns out this deadly Drew double has already killed her mother and is out to slaughter any one who gets in her way.

Drew looks great in this movie, particularly in a party scene where she is suddenly taken over by the evil spirit of her doppelganger and starts doing a sexy dance routine that almost melted my VCR. The climax of the film is great with the true nature of Drews double being revealed in a blaze of slimy animatronic special effects that certainly owe a debt to the skinless " Uncle Frank" from Hellraiser.

If you are a fan of daft horror movies, the delectable Drew Barrymore, or both you had better watch this movie.
