 Danny Kaye Song Lyrics

Danny Kaye Big Top Album

Danny Kaye's ability to rattle off tongue twisting phrases, along with his mastery of impersonation and mimicry, is what makes his songs so unique and so well loved.  The following are the lyrics to some of the songs and stories. Each one is transcribed by myself, after having spent many hours patiently listening to each song many, many times over.
Danny Kaye Drinka Water Album
The main problem I have faced in transcribing them is the fact that so many of his songs are dependant on nonsense words and heavy accents. If you see any errors in the wording, or have any lyrics to other songs, please leave a message in my guestbook below. For more information on how to go about obtaining Danny Kaye merchandise, please click on the links page, below.
Many thanks go out to everyone for helping with lyrics corrections, and all the kind words and memories of Danny Kaye that you have shared with me. Unfortunately, due to the unscrupulous collecting of email addresses from websites and the ridiculous amount of spam I've received from having my email address linked on these pages, it has now been removed and I cannot receive any more updates from visitors. Please leave any corrections or information in the new guestbook link I have provided at the bottom of this page. Thanks!
