Li Yi Min

Li Yi Min, a native of Hebei, was born on October 20, 1952. At age six, he began training in the Beijing Opera; he was Jack Long's (Mystery of Chess Boxing, Born Invincible) classmate. Li's father Li Tong-chun and his uncle Li Wan-chun were renowned opera performers. Li later studied at the National Fu Hsing Dramatic Arts Academy and got his acting debut in 1970, followed by various TV series, including Judge Bao. He also toured with the Taiwan National Troupe performing Beijing Opera across the United States. In 1975, Li was hired by Chang's Film Co. and starred in films such as Seven Man Army. When Shaw Brothers signed with Li in 1977, he'd since become an official member of "Chang's Cohort".*I read that he held the world record for back handsprings.
