Hsiao Hou was born in the Meixian Kwangtung Province, China (he now lives in Taiwan). I am not sure of the year he was born in. I have seen 1946, 1947, and 1948; but I will go with the date that shows up the most, which is April 1947.

He was in some Shaw Brothers films as well some directed by Liu Chia-Liang. I didn't know this, but I read that he is also a director.

The first time I saw him was in the Invincible Pole Fighter, but I didn't know who he was. Then I saw him in Mad Monkey Kung Fu where he had a starring role. *I LOVE that movie!!!
