Chen Kuan Tai was born in Hong Kong, China. He is a real-life martial artist and practices the monkey style of kung fu. He was also one of Shaw Brothers' most well-known stars and one of their first real and solidly-trained martial artists.

The first time I saw Chen Kuan Tai was in The Flying Guillotine (I didn't know who he was, though), and I didn't become a fan until I saw Heroes Two.
