It all started as a typical 'day off' when once again
we got bitten by the "Wander Bug" and just had to get
out of the house and see more of this beautiful state
that we now call home.
We decided to head out to Golden State Canyon, so
Autumn and I picked Baby Blue up from school and
headed out for a new adventure.
It felt great to be back on the road again and we
really enjoyed the scenery!
It was so awesome to see all of these beautiful
houses built on top of these mountains.
As you drive into Golden, you immediately see the
Mesa's, which are breath taking!
Golden, Colorado is so lucky to be surrounded by
these beautiful Mesa's! As you can see, it's
nestled right into them.
We all were spending so much time enjoying the
scenery that neither of us noticed when I missed our
exit LOL! But then just as we were going to turn around and head back to where we had intended, we saw
a sign that said,
"Buffalo Bill's Grave & Museum"
The curiosity was too much, so we quickly took that
road and headed for an adventure that we are very happy
we let 'spontaneity' lead us on!
