At Chimera Pictures, we are devoted to the idea that the future of filmmaking lies in supporting America's nerd subculture. Today, nerds are less of an alienated group of social outcasts than simply that part of every American that desires to partake in all the guilty pleasures associated with geekdom -- making web pages, playing videogames, reading fantasy and sci-fi books - everything that society has otherwise stigmatized. And because it is a part of the American cultural panorama, geek culture truly is something that must be cherished and supported by all forms of media, including film.

Thus, as Chimera Pictures is in support of that oft-scorned part of the human heart known as geekiness, we focus only on making the geekiest of the geeky movies. So far, we have filmed All Your Base Are Belong to Three Nerds in a Garage, a live-action version of the opening sequence to the videogame Zero Wing, which will be released sometime this summer (a trailer is available below). We have also finished production and editing of the first installment of Solar Crystal Legend, which is available now.
