Dubya
Mood:  suave
Now Playing: Modern Swinger- The Pink Spiders
by Gavan Gideon

George Walker Bush is an evil man
He says he does, but he has no real plan
It’s like he’s playing a giant Risk game
Always trying to find someone to blame
Dubya was a president’s child
I suppose that’s why when he got C’s people just smiled
His peers would ponder (as he attended Yale and Harvard)
“What the hell is he doin’ here, he only got in cuz of money and his father”
In 2000 at age 56 he ran for president thinking he was slick
Along with Dick Cheney, his faithful sidekick
He somehow made it through the long campaign war
And in the end he beat the more intelligent candidate Al Gore
Not even a year into his term, he was informed the world Trade Centers were hit
But he still sat down to take photos with kids for just a bit
Fifteen minutes later he was still at the school resting his back
While our whole country is under attack
A month later, when things are nearly figured out
He decides to strike al Qaeda, thinking he’ll win without any doubt
Four years later while Bush is biding
Osama binLaden is still not caught “because he’s hiding”
In 2003 Bush gives up on the Taliban
Tries to grab Iraq with an empty hand
On March 20 he attacks without the UN’s approval
He thinks, screw them I’ll start my own removal
He goes in looking for WMDs
But all he finds is thousands of casualties
In 2004, he decides to run for the presidency again
This time battling Kerry and Edwards who looked like they had a decent chance back then
You would think us American citizens would have learned from our last mistake
But no, we didn’t, so once again, Dubya takes home the cake
Ever since Bush has became the leader of this country, so diverse
It as a whole has become a lot worse
We’ve lost all our allies across the world, who now just glare
Oh wait, there’s still the Bush and Blair affair
I’ve wrote this poem to make a point
I just hope our next president won’t disappoint

BS Films is not a very credible name...
Mood:  cheeky
or so we learned last week. Upon attempting to make a buisness call, we were first assumed to be telemarketers, then altogether fake. Okay, so it wasn't really a buisness call. We pretended to be making serious buisness inquiries only to argue with the "agent" of a "dead" rockstar. More on that next week.
Right now we'd like to talk about Halloween, not to be confused with the Day of the Dead(the holiday, not the movie). Last year, we saw the King of Halloween. Not the devil. The REAL King of Halloween: Michael Myers.
We were walking around town, wishing we weren't too old to go trick-or-treating, and there he was. He was about 150 feet away, staring at us. Being the self-proclaimed horror movie experts we are, we came to an unusual conclusion. In horror movies, people always run and die. So we decided to run towards him. Go figure. He turned around and walked away and went around the curve of the road until he was out of sight. Just like in the movies, he was walking and we were running, but he was somehow faster than us. As we came running around the curve, bright headlights blinded us and a large, white pick-up truck started up and sped past us. Michael Myers was gone and our lives have never been the same since that night.
As always, sign the ONE campaign and the guestbook! Have a wonderful Halloween! Peace!!

Right now we're working on a rough cut of a new episode of Pimp My Shovel, which we will TRY to put on here. No promises, though. In the mean time, several new Bush quotes got added to the mix and the links were updated so check them out! Filming on The 80's House just wrapped. As we were forced to cast some of our friends in it, the process was quite interesting but it turned out better than we expected. We also recently got MySpace, so you can add us as a friend HERE!! We look forward to talking to you! If you are looking for a ONE campaign armband, we know of a few places you may be able to get one. Contact us somehow and we'll try to hook you up. Remember to sign the ONE Campaign and our Guestbook!! Peace! May 25, 2005: Begins it so... (again)
With a week left of school, we are realizing that we can't really make up excuses for not working on anything. We'll be totally redesigning the website in June. Hopefully by September, we will have a finished a full-length script. The school year hasn't been completely unproductive though. We've started filming material for something. We don't really know quite what it is yet. So far we just have a rough episode of PIMP MY SHOVEL.

OVERLOAD!!!!
Mood:  accident prone
We're sorry that it has, once again, been far too long since our last update. We are up to our heads in fan mail and simply cannot keep up with it. We sincerely apologize for the delay of our replies. We are really doing our best. Just a friendly reminder- it really isn't necassary to send us an email twice every single day and all the donations are great but seriously, we now have more money than Bill Gates. If you still feel the need to make a contribution we'd prefer it to be in the form of a camera rather than cash or checks. No, we don't accept credit cards either. We're working on that though. Visa is trying to score a deal with us but really, who needs a $10.63 million signing bonus. That's just ridiculous. So what have we done with all that cash? We finally bought a camera! We've found it has made a profound difference in our movie-making abilities. No, we still aren't casting yet. Stop sending audition tapes, especially ones that show off more than your, um, acting ability. Our underground sweashops, ahem, we mean, WE are stamping out T-shirts faster than Lance Armstrong sells armbands. Order them before they're gone! If you have already attempted to make an order, but have failed to get a reply or a shirt, we're sorry. Just keep bugging us. And now about all that promised info on new movies, scripts, and that tv show. We're working on them. Please check out the ONE Campaign website, which you can do by clicking the banner at the top of the page. Be sure to go to the kick-ass Shadow Puppet concert Friday, April 15 in the Lakeview auditorium!!! Be there or be in despair!

Happy New Year!!!
Mood:  celebratory
It finally snowed! We still cannot officially declare winter sincethere isn't very much and it doesn't entirely cover the ground, but at least it snowed. As of late, there has been a fair amount of specualtion involving various aspects of BS Films. Henceforth, we have decided to end the specualtion by releasing an official statement in a bit we like to call: AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO END SPECULATION INVOLVING VARIOUS ASPECTS OF BS FILMS
1. BS Enterprises does not plan to go public or make any of it's divisions or subdivisions, including BS Films, public.
2. BS Enterprises is not, and will not, be for sale any time in the foreseeable future.
3. BS Films is currently working on designs for various new merchandise, including stickers.
4. Horror is not the only film genre BS Films is working in. We currently are developing a few comedies, a silent film, and a few television shows.
5. We plan on releasing our movies in both DVD and VHS format, but that is subject to change.
6. Although we do appreciate people signing the guestbook, we do not however appreciate "the other company" using our guest book for shameless self-promotion. : )
Peace!

Let it snow... let it snow... PLEASE LET IT SNOW!!!
Mood:  lazy
There is only one week left until Christmas and there still isn't a speck of snow on the ground. Not a single molecule! Its quite pathetic!
We wish you all a very happy holiday season with at least 5 feet of snow! Remember, BS Films t-shirts make the perfect Christmas present! Last minute orders accepted!
Look for tons of updates and site renovations in the next year! We'll be in full swing working hard on a new movie next summer! Sorry, we won't be holding auditions for quite some time so don't bother asking. Peace!

Early December 2004: Higher authority has forced us to remove the last update from our main page. Please check back soon for less "offensive" updates. Since we've been "offensive" we feel we ought to remind you that we don't mean any harm. We're just some stupid filmmakers. Don't be quick to jump to conclusions about anything we say. Until then we'll leave you with a quote:
When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME... unless I'm the ass to begin with.

No News is Good News?
Mood:  a-ok
Sadly, we have no news to bring you. At least we haven't gone bankrupt and our stock didn't crash. We haven't really made or spent any money yet, though. We also don't have any stock. We never really have anything to say, either. What are you doing on this website??? If you are reading this we are sure you fit into one of these categories: A: You are here by mistake
B: You are checking our spelling and grammar
C: You are ALWAYS right
D: Both B and C... you know who you are!!!
Please, please, please let us know if you don't fit into one of these categories. Email us at bs_film@lycos.com or sign the guestbook...
Which brings us to our next topic: the guestbook. Why doesn't anyone sign it?! Especially those who fit into Category D. We really need something to read, as we get bored very easily. You only need to fill out one line for it to appear in the guestbook! Please feel free to write fake entries! Just now we've decided to launch a contest! I guess we do have some news!
NEW CONTEST!!!!!
Whoever can find the most spelling and grammatical errors on this entire website(including screenwriters' journal, guestbook, old updates, ect.) wins a BS Films t-shirt!! Submissions will be taken via the guestbook. THe contest will be closed on December 31st. Good luck!

BS Films Goes to Japan?
Mood:  caffeinated
This fateful weekend we rented Ringu. For those who aren't knowledgeable in horror movies, that is the original version of The Ring which is Japanese. By the way, if you didn't know that then what are you doing here?? Anyway, it was quite interesting to watch once we got past the fact that the movie was entirely in Japanese and we had to read subtitles for 96 minutes. The plot was the exact same, although the storyline slightly varied. If you watch both the American and Japanese verisons, you'll get it. Otherwise just take our word for it. The Japanese filmmakers didn't use a lot of the techniques that made the American version good. To sum it up: good plot, mediocre movie. Then a rare occurence, for lack of a better word, occured. We started thinking. Then something even more rare happened. We had a good idea. If Japanese horror movies aren't that scary, why not market our movies primarily in Japan? If our movies are really scary, we'll go down as Japanese legends that came from America. If our movies aren't that scary, we'll still be considered great filmmakers! We'd better start learning Japanese...

BS Films Opening Statement
Mood:  on fire
We are BS??? BS Films is an independent film company that was founded by two teenagers with a passion for horror movies. We are currently working on our feature-length film debut. The screenplay was expected to be completed by September 2005, but the writers are masters at the art of procrastination. The writers completely deserved to be fired. However due to lack of creative writing talent they were given another chance. Now we are shooting for a September 2005 deadline. Email us at bs_films@lycos.com
