Now Playing: Modern Swinger- The Pink Spiders
by Gavan Gideon
George Walker Bush is an evil man
He says he does, but he has no real plan
It’s like he’s playing a giant Risk game
Always trying to find someone to blame
Dubya was a president’s child
I suppose that’s why when he got C’s people just smiled
His peers would ponder (as he attended Yale and Harvard)
“What the hell is he doin’ here, he only got in cuz of money and his father”
In 2000 at age 56 he ran for president thinking he was slick
Along with Dick Cheney, his faithful sidekick
He somehow made it through the long campaign war
And in the end he beat the more intelligent candidate Al Gore
Not even a year into his term, he was informed the world Trade Centers were hit
But he still sat down to take photos with kids for just a bit
Fifteen minutes later he was still at the school resting his back
While our whole country is under attack
A month later, when things are nearly figured out
He decides to strike al Qaeda, thinking he’ll win without any doubt
Four years later while Bush is biding
Osama binLaden is still not caught “because he’s hiding”
In 2003 Bush gives up on the Taliban
Tries to grab Iraq with an empty hand
On March 20 he attacks without the UN’s approval
He thinks, screw them I’ll start my own removal
He goes in looking for WMDs
But all he finds is thousands of casualties
In 2004, he decides to run for the presidency again
This time battling Kerry and Edwards who looked like they had a decent chance back then
You would think us American citizens would have learned from our last mistake
But no, we didn’t, so once again, Dubya takes home the cake
Ever since Bush has became the leader of this country, so diverse
It as a whole has become a lot worse
We’ve lost all our allies across the world, who now just glare
Oh wait, there’s still the Bush and Blair affair
I’ve wrote this poem to make a point
I just hope our next president won’t disappoint
