Billy Boyd as Peregrin Took of Tookland

Billy Boyd is from Scotland, he is a renowned musician (he plays a fair few instruments, believe me) and is a theatre performer aswell. His most famous role there is in the production Taggart. The role of 'Pippin' is his first major role.

Peregrin Took, or Pippin to his friends, joins the Fellowship at the reluctanse of Elrond. Elrond thought that Pippin was too young andw as worried for him and would have sent him back to the Shire if not for Gandalf. As it turned out Pippin became an invaluable member of the Fellowship as he crosses the path of the deadly wizard Saruman.
