Orlando Bloom was in the London Guildhall pf Muisc Drama, performing in such plays as Peer Gynt, Twelfth Night, Antigone and The Seagull. Not long before he had stared in the film 'Wilde' and soon afterwards appeared in an episode of 'Midsomer Murders.' But it was his role as Legolas Greenleaf that caught the eyes of many around the globe. He had infact not even auditioned for the part, he went for the part of Faramir (Boromir's brother) and if he had received that role we would have known hardly anything about Faramir, yet. But after waiting six months he heard that the role wouldn't be available for him, but if he would audition for the role of the elf Legolas. He received the role (obviously) and has captured the imaginations of many after gracing our screens in 'The Fellowship of the Ring.'
