The Epic

Narrator: Deep in the salty ocean lies an island called Little Guya. On this island live two sisters, both alike in power and beauty. They had to share the land between them, but the two women could not agree. Dumnara wanted to rule all of Little Guya, but Queen Quinurin was afraid that her sister would be too harsh a leader, as well as be corrupted by the power and become cruel to the people. A war broke out and, eventually, Queen Quinurin's army was able to defeat that of her sister. Now the battle scars are healing and a child is born to Queen Quinuin. At last, the land has an heir. While Little Guya celebrates, Dumnara hatched a plain to steel the ruler-ship of little Guya. She sends her faithful assistant Dora the steal away the little princes, but Dora must wait until the princess turns sixteen to bring her to the dark lands where Dumnara dwells. When this day arrives Queen Quinuin is given the horrible news that her child was stolen. A decree is sent out to all the land for champions to gather in the city for a tournament. The victor of this tournament will become the champion of the Queen and go to rescue the little princess of Little Guya.

Scene #1
Eco arrives in the City and is wandering the streets. He enters a pub and accidentally walks into a woman.
Eco: Sorry
Kyna: Well you should be. You should apologize....
Eco: I did, but I’m sor...
Kyna: ...by buying me a drink. Impish smile I’m going to sit right hear and you bring the drinks
Eco: shrugs, sighs, and leaves to get drinks. Returns with two ales. Here you are. I hope you like....
Kyna: Ale? You brought me Ale? Scrunches noise in disgust.
Eco: I will get something else.
Kyna: No, that’s OK its here now. But for your information Ale is not a ladies' drink. Drinks long, deep, and noisily from tanker.
Eco: Look scarred and worried.
Kyna: so, you look funny! Where you from?
Eco: What?!? Looks insulted Well, I’m a seaman, and I live on the ocean.
Kyna: you look so dry....
Eco: smiling and a little amused Ya, the salt air can do that.
Kyna: Oh I guess it would. Ideally scratch neck
Eco: What’s on you neck? Are you sick? Shocked and worried look on face
Kyna: what, there’s nothing but my skin.
Eco: It’s usually green?
Kyna: Yes, I’m a forest dweller. Haven’t you seen one before?
Eco: No. I haven’t been off my ship my whole life.
Kyna: You were born on a ship? Under her breath No wonder he’s weird.
Eco: What did you say?
Kyna: Oh Ahh. Why are you here, off your ship that is.
Eco: I am hear to compete in the championship. Proud look on his face So why are you here?
Kyna: Avoids Eco's eyes. What gave you the thought that you could win the championship? An arrogant tone to voice.
Eco: tightens face with annoyance. An old woman came to me and told me to come and compete. She said I will be the champion, and if I work hard, I can save the princess and save Little Guya.
Kyna: And you believed that. Smirking You sailors are very gullible, aren’t you?
Eco: have you ever gotten a massage? Have you never gotten the feeling you had to go somewhere?
Kyna: No. The priestesses tell you if you have to leave the forests and you listen to no other! Good day, stranger. Thank you for the ale.
Eco: My name is Eco... waits looking at her What is your name?
Kyna: Kyninela.
Eco: Now we are no longer strangers.
Kyna: Walks way. Under breath Weird name, "Eco".
