Arwen is the love of Aragorn, daughter of Elrond half elven. She gave up her immortality for a mortal life to spend with the man she loves, along with the Evenstar which Aragorn wares upon his neck. Her father pressures her into going into the Valar, leaving Aragorn for he is mortal. She , in essence, saved Frodo when he was wounded by the Nazgul.

In FO 120, Aragorn passed, and Arwen journeyed to Lorien, where she died the following winter.

WHAT I THINK OF ARWEN

I think Arwen was portrayed beauitfully by Liv Tyler. However, like many other fans of the book, I would have liked to have seen Glorfindel save Frodo and not her, but awesome job anyway.
