David and his Magnetic Clay Baths

We are Back :)
Hi Everyone,
I know its been quite a long time since I have posted about David. We spent most of May, up north in Minnesota visiting family. We have been home about a week now and I figure it was time to update.
David has been continuing his bio-chelate drops everyday (although being honest, we missed a few over our trip) He also has been sticking to the Vitamins on a daily basis also.
Last Thursday we did bath #5, using 1 cup of clay and sitting for 15 minutes. Still I see no side effects in David, no nausea, no fatigue or headaches. So I'm assuming all is going well.
My family has noticed he is much calmer since the last time they saw him (before we started this treatment). They noticed the clearer speech, and much less aggitation with situations.
So maybe its not just a mothers wishful thinking, and just maybe there is something to all this natural stuff. Who knows?
Davids 6th bath is going to be this Thursday and I will post again that night after we are done.
Thanks for stopping by, Kelly

Bath #4
Well today we had our 4th bath. I used 1 cup of Clay again and had David sit in for 12 minutes. we still have much black residue on the bottom of the tub. Its hard to believe its been a month doing this treatment. David is doing very well. He seems to have started talking a little bit more. Well, its more of a echolia thing, repeating what is said to him. And some words are becoming more clearer. Maybe this is all wishful thinking on a moms part, Im not sure. Anyways, in 12 days we will be in Minnesota, and the clay baths will stop for the two weeks we are gone, although the chelation drops will continue as usual. So I will post again this weekend... see you :)

Except when he tells me to "pack my bags now please"... he's very excited about the plane ride to Minnesota in just over 2 weeks. Anyways 4th bath will be on Thursday, WOW its hard to believe its been a month! See you then.. Kelly

Well here we are Thursday, and we just got done with his third bath. Today I decided to try 1 Cup of the clay, where as I was only doing 1/2 Cup the first two times. Again David had no problem with the bath and I have notice no side effects as of yet. We did get batteries for the digital camera, so I took some pictures of the bath (not of David, because Im sure you all dont want to see that.. trust me..lol). So next post should be this weekend sometime. See you then...

Just a quick note...
We are still doing the chelation daily, 2-3 times per day. We are up to 6 drops, next Monday we may move up to 7. I cant say what I'm observing right now with David. I don't know if its wishful thinking or the treatment. But in a few weeks, we'll be in Minnesota and Ill see what the family says or thinks. Next posting will be Thursday with his third bath.

what a weekend
Hi there, Just a quick posting that David is continuing his bio-chelation drops and vitamins every day. This past Sunday I tried to up the dose to 8 drops, and that seemed really ahrd for David to handle. He started complaining of stomach aches, and head aches and was Nauseated, although he never actually vomited. So we are back to 5 drops. Also we will be doing the 2nd clay bath on Thursday so lets hope it goes as well as the first one last week. I will post again soon. Love to all, Kelly

And we are off....
Well, as you can see I switched Blog sites. The last one has been down for the past 6 days, so here we are on Angelfire. Ive had no problems with this sight since my webtv days.

Anyways, over the weekend, David allergies kicked in. He also developed Diarrhea and complained of headaches. So I held off on the clay bath until he got to feeling better.

Which, as it so happens, was today. David got his first clay bath. Now according to the direction you are to mix the clay in some water before adding it to the bath. I did that by hand when I took my bath and today realized that I did not do it enough. For Davids bath, I used my food processor to help dissolve the clay into the water. And that worked like a charm. we had very little sediment and clean up did not nearly take 45 minutes.

So I made Davids bath, and to my Surprise he had no problem getting in. No screaming, no kicking, no crying. Just hopped in like it was a ordinary bath. He was in the bath for 8 minutes, so next week I may try 10.

As I drained the tub, there was a black residue on the bottom of the tub. Now in my research on the clay baths, I found a testimonial that said something about " I cant believe that black stuff came out of me" still having a hard time believing the black was the metal in Davids body. I am leaning towards it being some of the spices/herbs that I had to add to the clay.

This packet of herbs was a black powder also. so I as I said Im not sure what the black substance was. All I can do is write what I am seeing.

David is still taking the bio chelate although with him being sick this past week, I cut it down to 3 drops 3x daily instead of 5 drops. But Today he was back up at 5 drops.

I believe that is all, in 5 weeks, David and I will be going to Minnesota, so we will not be taking clay baths up there. But we will have the bio-chelate and vitamins with us.

So are we having fun yet..lol.. Ill post again soon, Kelly

And the days go on...
I know its been a few days since I posted, there is really little to report right now. David is taking his vitamins everyday and getting the bio-chelat twice daily (three times on the weekend). He seems a little calmer, but I'm not sure if he's going through a "good" time phase, or if its the chelation, I don't want to speculate on that. He will get his first clay bath on Monday night. So I will try to post at least once before then, but definitely Monday after the bath (and the 45 minute cleanup)..Byezzzz

Starting the bio-chelate
Well as I said yesterday, I did receive both item, they were just in the wrong box. So today, I started the Bio-chelate, and I'm planning to do this for one week, before I start the clay baths.

Speaking of the clay bath. Well curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to try a bath on myself last night. Its hard to believe people pay 100's for this stuff at a spa...lol. I used 1/2 cup of the mixture in a full tub. And per directions soaked for 15 minutes. The water was a grayish black color but no where near mud consistency. Although there is some settlement of the clay to the bottom of the tub.
Which, when I was all done, took a good 45 minutes to clean the tub out. Good exercise I guess.

As I said though David wont get his first bath until maybe next Monday. I would like to give the Bio-chelate time to work a little bit in removing the heavy metals from the tissues.

So I will post tomorrow and see if there is any difference in David.

I just heard from the seller of the clay product, and it seems that the outside of the box was marked wrong. The inside contents was the Enviormental kit. So here we go, let the fun begin!

Good news..bad news
Good news: We received the clay bath kit today
Bad News: It was the wrong formula, they sent us the Aluminum detox bath and not the environmental one. So now I have to send it back to them for a exchange... Here's to another two weeks of waiting.
But more good news is that hopefully we get the bio-chelat soon, and we can start that while we are waiting for the right bath kit.

David is still doing the vitamin supplement.

Ill post tomorrow.. See ya, Kelly

Happy Easter
I know I haven't posted in the last two days. Truthfully, right now there is nothing to post about. We have not yet received the Bio-Chelate or the Clay Bath. So we are just doing the Vitamins everyday. If the products don't come tomorrow, I'm going to get a hold of the seller and find out when they were shipped.

Have a great day, and Ill update tomorrow. Kelly

A little about us....
My name is Kelly, I am 35 and a mother to a 14 year old Autistic Boy, named David. David is the reason for this blog. I have always believed that part of Davids problems were caused by his MMR vaccination around the age of two. This vaccination contained a high base Mercury preservative called Thermisol. You can read more on this at this link..

Autism and Mercury study

Even though I believed mercury to be his problem. I never had him formally tested. The treatment for Heavy Metal toxicity is called Chelation. The more I read on Chelation, I decided there would be no way I would put my son through it, unless I had a 100% guarantee it would work. Also Chelation is very expensive and it would be something my family couldn't afford, unless as I said, it was 100% guarantee to work. But nothing in life is Guaranteed, so I accepted David for who he is. He is perfect, just the way he is.

Well one morning on my never ending search on Autism, I came across this websight...

www.evenbetternow.com

What I read here, seemed well, impossible. But I was still curious on if David had Mercury in his system. This websight offered a Kit, where you cut your hair (or your child's) and you send the hair into a laboratory and there it IS analyzed for a series of Heavy Metals. The cost was appx $65.00, so with my moms help, I got the test. It was within 2 weeks I received the online report concerning my sons test.

You can see the test results here...

Davids test results

As you can see, Mercury was not my only concern, as the test showed high levels of Cadmium, Tin, Antimony, Lead and Arsenic. Mercury fell within normal range, but it is said the hair test we took does not measure for Mercury accurately.

well, say none the less, my family and myself are now very concern about David. Still, I didn't not want to put out the money , time and emotional energy on the Chelation therapies offered by Doctors.

As you can see on the Even Better Now websight, they offer a assortment of Magnetic Clays and other naturals products. They Claim this product can remove up to 90% of the metals in the body, which in some cases can reduce the symptoms of Autism and other illnesses.

So a few days ago, I ordered the Bio-chelate, which from my understanding, will unbind the metals that are deep in the tissues and organs and get these toxins moving through the system. And then excreted through the bowels. I also ordered the Clay baths ( the environmental detox). Once a week treatment for 7-8 weeks. All this is under 200.00 (including the hair test) so for that amount, I am willing to try the products and see if they lower the levels of the metals.

Now for his Autism, I'm realistic, I don't expect him to start talking after his first bath, in fact I'm not expecting any changes in his Autism, I am just hoping to decrease the metals in his system. Of course if the Autism gets better, milder, then Ill be even more happy. But I'm not going to hold my breath on that. As I said early, David is perfect the way he is.

Another note, if you look at his test results you will notice David has a Zinc deficiency. So I found a children's vitamin supplement that contains 100% of many vitamins including zinc. The vitamins we started yesterday, March 22nd. We have not yet received the Bio-Chelate or the clay baths yet. But I will be posting here everyday, making note of any changes I see.
