CPS must be required to provide "reasonable efforts" to keep families together, unless there is a real (ie provable) and immediate risk that the child be seriously injured or sexually abused.

The accused must be innocent until proven guilty. Do away with the CPS theory of "guilty until proven innocent".
Purposefully false accusations must be made criminal.
The accused must be allowed to face their accusers, as is their constitutional right.

There must be public oversight over CPS caseworkers and CPS proceedings.
CPS caseworkers must NOT be protected by immunity for any lies told to the court or entered into case files.
Mandate that all caseworkers (including existing caseworkers) “pass” a psychological screening exam.
Require sensitivity training for caseworkers to trauma caused by forcible separation of children from their families.
