Description:
Datalon is classified as a long-range fighter. His Bo Staff is 6’6” long, and made of a Carbon-Steel/Titanium Fusion. The Strength of both metals combined with the Titanium’s lightweight properties make his Bo Staff a very dangerous weapon.
His Discipline is the ancient art of BoJutSu along with some of his own creative moves to personalize his fighting technique. Datalon isn’t a powerhouse of Strength, nor does he master in Defense, but rather, he has developed his Speed and Reflex to dodge attacks all together. This combined with the length of his weapon make him a very hard target to hit. However, this is also a major flaw in his fighting. Since he has a low Defense, it would only take a few solid hits to finish him easily. If one were to choose Datalon as his/her character, one might want to first learn his moves in Practice Mode before venturing into Story Mode or Arcade Mode. Overall, patience is required if one were to master the character, Datalon.
Special Abilities:
One of Datalon's most mysterious, yet awesome techniques is a combination of his Will, Speed, and Reflex. The technique is most commonly activated when Datalon finds himself either cornered or about to recieve a deadly blow. When activated, everything in Datalon's eyes slows down for just long enough so that he can find an escape from harm. To everyone else, this looks as if Datalon teleported, thus, its name. The off-side to this Special technique is that it sucks up almost all of his adrenalin and a good chunk of his energy, leaving him feeling exhausted and weak(all this along with his injuries).
