Update Page!

News:

11/14/09 An email from a blade enthusiast who found this page has reminded me of this page. The email expressed an interest in learning about the final two dual blade stances. However, I could not find my notes on the Wolf style and have temporarily removed it from the basics page. However, should I be able to locate my old notes on the subject I am likely to continue development of this style and update this page more frequently. Please check back regularly.

9/19/05 I rewrote the front page, I felt it was outdated and seemed a tad immature. The new version feels much more well written and conveys the true spirit of the Ookami School.

4/16/05 Added a maintenance section, hope it helps though most modern swords don't really need that kind of care since they have fancy technological sealants and stainlessness or w/e. Should probably add a note about that to the page. Maybe also a link as to somewhere to buy the proper materials.

3/03/05 Updated the Basics page to add an easy browse table of contents and added to the Nito set. Expect many updates as I finish the Sito and Battoujutsu sections under basics. I also intend to add kodachi and taiji jian sections. Also, I intend to implement Dim Mak and other pressure point techniques to all my forms. Once I complete my study, a set of charts will be posted.

2/09/05Finished up the glossary, I made a quick list and defined it, so I might have forgotten some terms. Anything you see and don't understand, please inform me so I can update it.

2/08/05/ Yo, sorry for the week or two of silence, but no ones checking this anyway! Hehehe, well I started working on the nito section is basics though its a bit of a chore finding pictures of the stances, especially since most of them are not stances used by other styles. Also started work on a glossary page, figure it'll help out non-japanese savvy users learn some new words.

1/29/05 Just like I said, I did confundle a new technique for the Ookami ryu, you can check it out Here its the new Yamanekosougi, or wildcat strike! Eventually there will be a wolf fang strike, but I have yet to confundle a technique a perfect or powerful enough technique to bestow the honor of this name upon.

1/28/05 Finished the Ichiten section of Basics. Contemplating new special technique, check back just in case.

1/27/05 I finally added an update page! Well, this is basically where I'll list any additions to the site and\or style, I'll have them dated and probably just let the list chill and get exponentially longer... In other news, I may be attempting my first student, though I'm not sure if the style is complete enough, either way my biggest challenge will probably be to not kill him. Also, added the Gatotsu to the Tech Page!
