Here are some pictures of my pl*co's

This is a picture of one of my pl*co's the day they moved in to a 55 gal. aquarium.  He's a bit banged up from being a bonehead when I tried to herd him into a bucket for the move.

This picture shows my pl*co as of March 25, 2005.  It shows it's swollen belly.  It's not very noticable, except that I really do enjoy watching my fish, so I watch them a lot.  In this 55 Gallon tank I have two pl*co's and 9 zebra danios (zebrafish).  Real plants mix with fake plants all over.  There's a terra cotta pot upside down for them to go in too.  In this picture, my pl*co is in front of his/her log "home".

This is the same pl*co from the side.  Each one of those clear stones is 1" big, so s/he's really a very big fish.  Note the buildup of algae where the gravel is - the zebrafish won't stop having babies and even though they seem to eat every single one - I can't bring myself to kill the fry to clean the tank's gravel.  I vacuum the tank and the water and "stuff" goes into a 25 gallon clear plastic tub and sits for two weeks or more to make sure there are no little babies.  I can't help it.
