The Coven of the Lunar Spawn is an organization dedicated to the cause of advancing the vampyre community through the exchange of knowledge between vampyres and through the education of non-vampyres. By exchanging knowledge, we hope to bring a sort of unity to the vampyre community while still maintaining its diversity. We hope to do this firstly by realizing that our role as a student is never-ending, and through willingness to learn what we can from those both inside and outside of the coven. Secondly, we realize that our role as a teacher is never-ending; choosing to educate those we believe should be educated. Thirdly, we realize that we often must act as representatives of the vampyre community, and thus we must behave appropriately; being careful never to misrepresent the vampyre community or behave in a way that would bring negative attention on us all.
The Coven of the Lunar Spawn is also dedicated to the belief that the world is at a stage where it’s necessary to educate non-vampyres about our existence and our beliefs, and only by doing this can we do away with the prejudice and hatred that has plagued our kind for so long. We know that we must support others in the vampyre community and stand behind those of us that have been wronged; we know that we must defend against those who wish to bring negative ideas about us to the public; and we know that we must do all this with dignity, understanding, and respect.
