| Once upon a time there was a boy named Jay. Jay lived a happy, simple life with his family. He believed in hope, love, and happiness, as well a young child should. He loved his mother, his father, his sister. He loved Sister Ruth, at the small Catholic church that stood down the street. He loved God. Then Jay found out something he should not have. Then there was no one. Not his family, not Sister Ruth, not God. They were all gone in a moment. Who said all stories end in happily ever after? "Witchcraft" some murmured. "Devil spawn" others hissed. Jay was a wizard, you see, but he didn't know this. Nor could he have helped matters. But suddenly, the love and warmth and safety he had been promised was taken away... God abandonned him. After all, such creatures as wizards and witches were anathma in the eyes of the Church. It is said that love that turns to hate is the most powerful hatred that exists. And now, Jay wants to repay the hurt that God inflicted. He wants to use his new gift to denounce the Great Liar, to bring an end to His perfect works. To hurt Him, and bring Him the same misery Jay suffered. He's off to a good start, so far. |
