The weekend after Barcelona I went for the day to the Pyrenees…it was a very interesting day because I went there with four others in my group with the intention to just see the Pyrenees. We went to Canfranc which is a lovely old station on the foot of many mountains which has been left to deteriorate slowly but surely…. it’s a real pity that this grand building has not been looked after! Apparently it’s even been in some movies! Well, I went with Romain, Pedro, Mareike and Rafa…and this was Rafa's first time seeing snow! It was such a lovely thing! He played in the snow just like the kid…and then when we’d realised that we’d been there for a bit and we were so close the French border, we thought…why not? So we made our way to the little old city in the South of France, Pau. It was really lovely and one thing that struck us to be really odd, was how tranquil Pau really was! The only people you could hear were us Spanish students! Lol!
