One of the easiest ways of testing and developing your clairsentient ability is through communications that come to you. It is enjoyable and causes no harm. It can be a non-threatening way to test yourself.
The next time a letter
comes from a friend, before opening it, take a few deep breaths and
allow
yourself to relax. Rub your hands briskly together to heighten their
sensitivity.
Close your eyes and hold the letter between your hands or against your
forehead. Then ask yourself some basic questions:
What is the general tone
or mood of the letter writer?
Is it good news or
bad?
What emotions do
you personally experience as you hold it?
Does anything else
come to mind?
Eventually you will find yourself becoming more and more accurate at picking up and perceiving the tone and contents of such communications. You will begin to surprise yourself.
Try the same thing the next time the phone rings. Take a deep breath and relax. Then place your hand on top of the phone and let it ring once or twice while your hand is on it. Mentally ask yourself some questions about the caller as you do:
Is it male or female?
Is it someone you
know or a stranger?
What is the call about?
My personal note: * I’m considered a walking “caller ID”. I can usually tell if its business or personal, who its for and a lot of the times…who it is. *
Keep it simple. You will find that if you trust
your first impressions, you will begin to develop a fairly high degree
of accuracy. If you become confident with it you can even answer the
phone
using the caller’s name—“Hi, Donna.” The worst that can happen is that
you’re wrong. And if that makes you uncomfortable or embarrasses you,
you
can always make up some excuse for doing it such as, “I’m sorry, I
thought
you were Donna. She was supposed to call me right back”
