Columbine Blagden: The troubled, pickpocketing 17-year old girl who confinds herself to her diary, if not her best friend, pickpocket, leader, (very Italian), Maceo Gianni. Daughter of the crazed, insane 'thriller' writer, Bill 'the butcher' Blagden. She is immune to physical pain, and can pierce her ears manually without feeling a thing. She has 6 earrings in her right ear 3 earrings in her left. She also is responsible for pickpocketing a famous movie star's diamond engagement ring.
Bill Blagden: The crazed, insane writer who has become a hermit over the last 17 years. He is liable to disappear into his study and come out three weeks (if not more) later with a new idea after pooring over the earlier volumes of Parish Glen. He has created characters like the serial killer, Samuel Jamestree and the voo-doo doll-loving, trailer, housewife, Brenda Keels.
Maceo Gianni: 'The very Italian Man'. Goes also by the nickname, 'The Godfather'. At 18 years of age, Maceo is the leader of the pickpocketing gang, and is responsible for pickpocketing Donald Trump on Broadway Street. He is notorious at DeVici's Smoke Room, a place where the gang goes to gamble away their valuables and what they have nicked. He is Columbine's best friend. He has been in trouble with the law over 90 times in the past 3 years.
Mario Giuseppe: Another, 'very Italian man'. At 17 years of age, Mario is also a member of the pickpocketing gang of Manhattan. Mario always carries around a set of playing cards and snaps them to possibly acknowledge his existence, other than that, no one knows why he carries them. Mario is a classic con and gambler.
Luigi Fuoco: The third, 'very Italian man'. At 17 years of age, Luigi is the charmer of the group. He has the looks, the style, the grace and the knack to easily slip a Benjamin Franklin into his pocket without the slightest touch.
Paulie Grazia: 'Poker Gamer Paulie'. At 16 years of age, very mature, Paulie is the best of the gang at poker. He earned his nickname, 'Poker Game Paulie' after winning over $900,000,000 in one poker game. Because he is underage and goes to casinos daily to gamble, surprisingly he's only been in trouble with the law, 10 times in the last 5 years.
Tony Vino: The very, slick, sly, secretive boy of the group. At 18 years of age, 6 months younger than Maceo, Tony is the person who can persaude anyone to do practically anything.
Fuoco Della Cittą: The name of the pickpocketing group.
