Dog Biscuit Shipping & Ordering Info
About your biscuits…
These are made fresh when you order – they are not sitting on a shelf!!!
All biscuits are made with real meats, homemade broths, human grade foods, and NO added salts, sugars, preservatives or colorings. (There are a few exceptions i.e. multi colored doggeez and peanut butter fruity stars – but all the information you need on every item is in the item description). All biscuits are in plain plastic bags and sent to you in a box. (see more info below), I assume you are going to transfer them to your own boxes and jars!!!....Although you might find some boxes and jars in my store!!! I try to offer seasonal wrappings and some storage containers but you can easily recycle plastic jars at home. Abbies treats are in a big mayonnaise jar!!!
Everything used is human grade and baked in my kitchen so no problem if the kids get hold of them!!
Dogs with allergies….. It is possible to change some ingredients (flour, cornmeal, ect) if you dog has allergies.!!!! Please email me for a quote before ordering.
Making & Shipping your biscuits……
I prefer to make and send dog biscuits between Monday and Wednesday, although I will sometimes ship past this. I have shipped on Saturday before to zone 7 (im zone 1) and the box got there on Monday !!!
I’ll make them as soon as I can, normally I will try to collect a few orders together to make my kitchen time a bit easier, if I receive order and payment at the end of the week I will usually wait until Monday, and sometimes I have to go shopping befor ei can make orders to get the fresh ingredients. Of course if you are ordering large amounts of biscuits or mixing your order with soaps / jewelry ect the order may take longer to be sent…. If you need something by a certain date please contact me first to make sure I can fulfil the order.
Shipping weight will be confirmed when I have your choice of shipping and your full order.
I recommend that you use priority mail for shipping dog biscuits… but I do not demand it!! (order over 13oz have to be priority). You can use first class for sample orders. … With either way I cannot guarantee a perfect delivery as I cannot control what happens to them after they leave me. I suggest you choose priority mail boxes for delivery.
The biscuits themselves will be in a plastic bag and surrounded by bubble or packing chips for padding!! But the weight of the box will need to be added to the biscuits for shipping weight. From 4 – 16oz - I will add the appropriate amount of oz’s to your order. If you would like a quote including shipping please send me a list of what your interested in so I can get back to you with a final price before you place your order.
Whatever you choose for your shipping you must be aware that although I will pack your biscuits well I cannot be responsible for damaged packages. Please purchase insurance if need be.
Storing your biscuits ….
Most of these can be kept in the cupboard for quite a few days …. And often over a week. I normally keep Abbies in an old margarine tub in the fridge with some going to her treat box in the cupboard. Some of these things (like dinner lumps) are kept in the freezer and when I use the ones in the fridge I replace them from the freezer. Same with the ones I keep in the fridge and cupboard. When I use the ones in the cupboard they get replaced from the fridge so the treat is at room temperature when she gets it rather than cold. In the hot summer months I expect all will be kept in the fridge.
I know that most are fine for a week in the cupboard or even sitting on the side in the kitchen (my last batch of pizzas I made for Abbie and her friends sat on the kitchen side for a week with no problems. All you have to remember is that they do not have preservatives so how would you store this type of food.
Abbie would like to thank everyone who buys from her mommy as the profits all go towards all the things she needs…. And occasionally things mommy needs !!!! ha ha
So with big wet puppy kisses ‘thank you!!!’
