The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power, power is enriched By the heart The controller is the one that Unifies the chaos Only you can do it! Stop the chaos emeralds! The master emerald span rapidly in front of Knuckles. Jets of energy shot out towards the seven chaos emeralds. The biolizard’s cries pierced the commotion. The prototype had been defeated by its epitome. While it was hard to see how one had lead to the other it was clear on the victor. Suddenly the creature was engulfed by a flash of light and was gone. “Is it gone?” Knuckles muttered in astonishment. Shadow quickly made it to the altar where stood sonic and knuckles already and remarked, “Was that chaos control?” The ground shook underneath them again it seemed as though the colony was still speeding through the atmosphere. “Since we stopped the chaos emeralds why is the Space Colony still on a crash course to earth?” was knuckles response. Eggman could be heard over the colony’s communications in a distorted voice, “The Prototype is still alive! He's controlling the Space Colony as it is falling to Earth! He has become one with the Space Colony, and is determined to keep it on its collision course!” Sonic and Shadow share a glance acknowledging to each other what must be done without words. They raised their hands in the air and the chaos emeralds descended from their perches upon the altar spirally around the two hedgehogs. The chaos emeralds, filled themselves with bondless energy, bestowed as much power as the bodies of the two heroes could withstand. They were powered up and the fight was on. ULTIMATE LIFE The beast let out a great shriek as the two hedgehogs appeared with it outside of the ark. “Sonic, Shadow can you hear me?” eggman’s voice rang out over the com, “You two are the only ones who can stop him now, you’re our last hope.” Like streaks of light the two fighters shot towards the creature. Just as they were closing another shriek could be heard from the thing and a laser shot out hitting Shadow clearly in the chest and flung him back. Sonic was luckier, he got through and delivered a square it to its neck. “Where does he get all that power? Is it the power of the chaos emeralds? Shadow you ok?” Sonic cried over the sounds of battle. Shadow quickly regained his balance and responded, “Don’t worry about me Sonic, just take him out!” Even if the beast was dying it could still put up a decent fight. It pulled together its energy and surrounded itself with a protective field of small orbs of concentrated chaos. This time it was the voice of knuckles that could be heard, “Sonic we’re in danger. The colony will enter the atmosphere in about four minutes.”
It was Shadow’s turn he dashed towards the lizard and yelled “Here I come you creep!” This time he managed to penetrate its defences and deal a glancing blow. “Can both of you hear me?” Amy’s voice echo from the ark, “The ark is close to earth. Please hurry up.” The creature still looked far from reading to give up. It was going to be tight. “He’s still very powerful. What kind of monster is this?” Shadow remarked as the two went in for another bombing run. This time the two both maid solid contact with the creature as it let out yet again a cry of anguish… or possibly just annoyance. “Can you hear me, Sonic Shadow?” It was Rouge’s turn to deliver a message, “Everyone here is rooting for you. Good luck and give him trouble!” With renewed vigour they began once more to clash with the beast as the ark was nearing the stratosphere. The small atmosphere around the ark began to heat, if it weren’t for the energy of the chaos emeralds coursing through all three of the combatants they would have been toast. The two had become a blur as they fought when suddenly once again shadows was flung from the battle by a well placed hit. Sonic yelled to him, “Shadow, at this rate your super form won’t last! Get back to the colony!” But Shadow wouldn’t listen to him he just muttered to himself, “Maria… Watch me I will fulfill your wish!” He burst forward one last time and dealt the final hit to the prototype. As he yelled “I must destroy all the evil that the professor has created!” Even with the prototype

they had one last chance. They flew directly at the Sonic yelled, “There’s no way that’s getting through!” Shadow could hear echoes of his memories, Maria; it was all making sense finally. Shadow… I beg of you… Maria! Give them a chance… to be happy! Sonic voice shook Shadow back into reality, “Now Shadow!” The two cried out together
