Physical Description
Has long, pin-straight fire red hair with black streaks dyed throughout. Hair falls to his thighs when loose, but it is normally tied back, and braided, in such a way that it falls just below his back. He is 5ft11in(180cm) and weighs 143lbs(67kg). He has a lean build, full shoulders, and is agile enough to weild his daikatana with ease. His skin is pale enough that he burns easy and never tans, a constant pain to him as he is a traveler. His eyes are wide and a blue so pale they appear to be clear.

Until he was 8 years old, Kikyou lived with his parents in a lone house on a mountain. His father trained him in martial arts and in bushido, making sure he had all his values straight. Some people who thought Kikyou's family believed in "sonno joi" came and set their house on fire. Kikyou managed to escape with only a sacred sword set. From there, he was adopted by a gay couple traveling up the mountain, who had noticed the smoke and went to inspect it, found him, and took him in. When he turned 18, he decided to leave his foster parents to train out in the wild so that he could find the people who killed his parents and get his revenge. He is still wandering to this day, not satisfied with his strength.
