The story so far:

Danny was born very unexpectedly at home after an hour of contractions (which neither of us were aware were contractions) and the less than a minute after the waters broke out he popped, butt first hehe... He was then taken to the local hospital and 20 mins after danny was born his heart stopped (lucky enough he was in the hospital at that time), after that he had to go in an incubator cuz he was born 14 weeks early and needed to be in the incubator to keep him warm, while in the incubator he was put onto a ventilator as he was really undeveloped when born and was unable to breathe by himself. After about 5 hours of him being at the hospital i was finally able to see my son and seein him layin there with all the tubes and pipes and all nearly had me in tears as i wasnt prepared or told to expect it and it broke my heart, knowin i could do nothing for him other than be there for him. After he was stablised he was transfered to St Marys hospital in Manchester which is a specialised baby hospital where he has been since and will be til he is ready to come home. so far he has had to have 4 blood transfusions and a few blood top ups, he has had a perforated bowel (which means a tear in the bowel lining) so he had to have an operation to remove 10 cms of the bowel and as such, his bowels are not able to function so the tubes that go to the bowels are now comin out of his belly and will remain there for a few more weeks til his bowels are ok to use, and then he will have another operation to put it back again. he also has had a lot of infections but being my son he has fought all the way and is a very strong little man...
